Description: It's Mickey's Birthday and his girlfriend just left him, so that's when his friend Clarence shows him a birthday he'll never forget. Now, why did I mess with a Tarantino? Well, I "messed" because I think the film had a lot of potetion if it would get a good edit. With good editting at the right places, black/white and light(er) images instead of those dark green images and with music at the right place I think this film is much more entertaining and interesting to watch. I think (and offcourse you've got the right to disagree) that the time and effort I putted in this film made a world of difference, and I hope you'll appreciate this. Cheers, Dennis Daja |

TJzPictures ::: Favorites That music in Part III in the Kung Fu fight sucks. I mean why Opera. I have nothing against it but that's just trying to hard and over doing the so called "Tarantino style." I like the other music selections though they are to loud most of the time and in the wrong spots at others but that Kung Fu Fight Music just ticked me off. 07-09-17 17:06:18 __________________________________________________

DennisDaja ::: Favorites It was a song from Lenny Otis, I forgot the title but will search it up as soon as possible. I thought it would fit, since the interview is about Lenny Otis. The Beatles song was meant to be redundent, for the original footage has no sound. It was just one very strange and esspecially short shot of Quientin rolling over the floor. I wanted to give it a bit meaning so played it slower, messed arround with colour a bit and add some sound. 07-08-18 11:11:28 __________________________________________________

AlanDSanborn ::: Favorites This is a much cleaner visual version than the other one I have a link to. The pumpkins on my shirt are actually recognizable as pumpkins! Best wishes, Alan 07-07-15 17:55:20 __________________________________________________

salsburysteakjr ::: Favorites I think it's cool to try your own version of the film, but only if you also showed also the ORIGINAL Tarantino edit. Because it's really interesting mostly as a historical artifact, of how Tarantino vastly improved as a filmmaker later on. This is the MAJOR reason people want to see it. And by altering it like you have, they don't get that oppertunity. 07-07-12 07:00:46 __________________________________________________
zela78 ::: Favorites if you look at the facts...upon tarantino's induction into hollywood, at his first major meeting, he showed this film as a showcase for his directing ability...he was asked to never show it again if he wanted a career in hollywood...although the dialogue is still very tarantino, the technical aspect is nothing near what he was fully capable of...but in the end, it goes to show...f**k film school, shoot your own films and learn from your own mistakes, which he clearly did...and did very well... 07-07-08 04:39:00 __________________________________________________
mannmannban ::: Favorites you shouldn't have slowed down the footage though... you also should have used the final chorus of the song... 07-04-24 20:30:10 __________________________________________________ |
