Yes it's impossible because man can't keep anything simple. They treat everything in life like if it
where math, adding and subtracting and never getting to the real answer. Then when the real answer happens to be GOD, they become opinionated and try to solve the riddle as if where a game of rubics cube.

(cont.) when looking at a work as extensive, ancient, dense, controversial, and cultural as the bible it's almost impossible to have an objective opinion, to me, the spirit of god is less important than the culture that's evolved around the idea of god and the question of god

In order to read the bible and understand it, the spirit of God must be seal in you. Just by reading
Gen 1:26 means nothing unless GOD is in you.

There is some truth to what you say in that: if you read the bible with the intent of understanding the spirit of god you will see things which allude to the spirit of god, should you read with the intent of finding there is no god you will likely come to that conclusion

another observation from gen. 2:24: "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." in the case of adam, we see that his wife is eve (they are literally of the same flesh) and his father is god. this seems to suggest a mother as well. if we go further and accept that there is a holy mother, there is no reason to believe that there is not an entire cast of deities or other gods that are not mentioned in the bible.

That is in interesting interpretation, you're right, within the assumed metaphor the text suggests a fourth character (the mother) who is rarely mentioned if at all, i find the verse just before very interesting "this one shall be called woman for out of man this one was taken" implying more than just a symbiosis, but a literal reversal of the capability of birth from woman to man

wow, thank you for looking into all of that. i did some digging and found a few ideas in response:
the beginning of the gospel of john states that "the word", which is meant to indicate jesus, was around in the beginning. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." perhaps this could be used to explain the use of the plural in genesis?
