Description: So Yahoo.com hosted a Transformers contest titled "The Search For The Ultimate Transformers Fan." To enter, you simply had to make a 3 minute video showcasing why you are the ultimate Transformers fan (henchforth dubbed a "Fanaticon"). There were three winning videos selected that received the grand prize: an all-expense paid trip to ILM Studios in California to witness the behind-the-scenes making of the upcoming Transformers movie! This video won me one of those winning spots, proving beyond a doubt that I AM THE ULTIMATE FANATICON! :) Enjoy! ***UPDATE*** I found another online Transformers contest to enter this video into that was sponsored by ToyFare magazine. Some of them are just repaints of other toys I already have, and some of them are error/misprint packages... Thanks for checking out my video!! | Qatlantis ::: Favorites 2008-01-14 03:32:32 I think you might be remembering the Transformers movie incorrectly - Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime are the same Autobot. If you remember, when Prime was dying, he passed the Matrix on to Ultra Magnus, who was not "chosen" by the matrix to be the new leader, and consequently was killed by Scourge and the sweeps (and later rebuilt by the Junkions). Hot Rod, however, was able to open the matrix at the end, which changed him into the new Autobot leader, Rodimus Prime. __________________________________________________ | |

My absolute favorite Transformer, though, has to be G1 Shockwave. Not only was he the very first Transformer you I ever received, but he's just so damn cool-looking!! He only has one eye, and a gun for a hand, and he's one of the few G1 characters that never had an Earth alt-mode (since he stayed on Cybertron). | Qatlantis ::: Favorites 2007-12-29 05:49:06 I do have the concept Camaro Bumblebee from the movie, which is way cooler than the classic Camaro Bumblebee. But I do not have the Beast Wars Razorbeast; in fact, I don't have a great deal of Beast Wars toys. Of all the Transformers series, Beast Wars was my lest favorite. Which isn't to say that I didn't like it - I just didn't get into the toys all that much. But now that you mention it, I'm going to have to look on ebaY for Razorbeat now... :) __________________________________________________ | |
