It comes from a company (SONY) who knows GOOD, CLEAR, RELIABLE, Picture, it knows that computers can reach 4 Terabytes and be easily affored. Programs are getting bigger same with games, thats y the blu-ray disk suits well. Its reliable, people put the PS3 in freazers and sauna's and it worked fine.
