The poet in me

Description: Hey there! Here is a poem I wrote! Its copyrighted so dont even try anything: THE DOOR I found myself in the dark crawling on the floor searching for an escape reaching for the door .. i touched the brass knob and got chills up my spine i stood face to face to the door it was just us this time .. the door seemed to represent another part of something missing a piece i could not find my ears began to listen .. at the touch of the knob i was overwhelmed with emotion the other side was a world fully spinning in motion .. i wanted to open that door to see the other side but something held me back what was this door to hide? .. Then i noticed a peep hole and a light shining through so i put my eye against it and images came into view .. how beautiful the other side was so peaceful and calm that is the side i should be on i knew this all along .. as i peered through the hole i saw a ray of light it seemed to beam straight to me and latch on with great might .. while i was inside this ray pictures flashed through my mind i saw myself smiling and happy a part of me i wanted to find why did you do that? the ray began to question you care for him, no? did you learn your lesson? .. with every ounce of dignity i have i said that is quite a mountain to overcome you sure have tested your innerself said the ray yes i know but we can climb this mountain .. fate plays a part in the way the system works but ultimately you are the ringleader do not be afraid to be angry with yourself now look past this and plant a good seed here .. in a fraction of a moment the room got dark i could not see through the anymore i took a step back and soon realized i was now on the otherside of the door.
