Description:

If there's a tear on my face It makes me shiver to the bone It shakes me, Babe It's just a heartache that got caught in my eye And you know I never cry, I never cry Sometimes I drink more than I need Until the TV's dead and gone I may be lonely But I'm never alone And the night may pass me by But I never cry Take away, take away my eyes Sometimes I'd rather be blind Break a heart, break a heart of stone Open it up but don't you leave it alone 'Cuz that's all I got to give you Believe me Babe, it ain't been used My heart's a virgin, it ain't never been tried and you know I never cry and you know I never cry and you know you know you know you know I never cry, I never cry Break a heart, break a heart of stone Open it up, but don't you leave it alone 'Cuz that's all I got to give you Believe me Babe, it ain't been used My heart's a virgin it ain't never been tried And you know I never cry _____________________________ Goes to Hell is an album by Alice Cooper, released in 1976. It was the sequel to his previous album Welcome to My Nightmare. It is a continuation of the story of Steven and the nightmares plaguing him. This is Cooper's first attempt at Disco, which would later erupt with "Saturday Night Fever". With the success of "Only Women Bleed" from his first solo effort, Alice continued with the rock ballads on this album. "I Never Cry" was written about the matter of Alice's drinking situation, which would in one year send the performer into re-hab. As quoted by Cooper, "An alcoholic confession". Track listing: 1. "Go to Hell" -- 5:15 2. "You Gotta Dance" -- 2:45 3. "I'm the Coolest" -- 3:57 4. "Didn't We Meet" -- 4:16 5. "I Never Cry" -- 3:44 6. "Give the Kid a Break" -- 4:14 7. "Guilty" -- 3:22 8. "Wake Me Gently" -- 5:03 9. "Wish You Were Here" -- 4:36 10. "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" -- 2:08 11. "Going Home" -- 3:47 All Songs Written By: Alice Cooper/Dick Wagner/Bob Ezrin
