Under Clinton, Janet Reno fired 93 US Attorneys in order to take the heat off House Post Office investigation of Ways and Means Chairman Dan Rostenkowski. We're talking just 8 under Bush, what is wrong with peoples' critical thinking skills? Reid, and the rest of the netroots need to get a grip. easymike ::: Favorites You haven't been paying attention hollywood7. Clinton's replacing 93 US Attorney's at the beginning of his term has been repeated adnauseum but without explanation. He did not replace Attorney's in the middle of their terms for political retribution, as it appears that the Bush administration has done. 6 out of 8 atty's were involved in prosecuting cases that Bushco. did not approve of.
