Isn't it the most probable explanation that, the ancient Macedonians (Greeks) mixed with the Slavonic people who migrated to the Balkans in the 5th-7th Century, thus = Modern Macedonians? Being a mix between Illyrian, Greek, Vlach, and Slav.

Great video. Congratulations. The Skopjans should also answer (among other things) why it is that Alexander is depicted wearing a lionshead. The answer for us Hellenes is simple. Because he claimed heritage from Hercules, who also wore a lionskin. Hercules was a Hellen and so was Alexander. The very name Alexander means "brave" in Hellenic, but it has no meaning in Skopjan.
